Our Story
In 2007, a group of six people saw the desperate need for churches to reach college students in the Pacific Northwest and started Resonate Church at Washington State University. Since then, Resonate has continued to plant churches on college campuses, with 13 churches in 7 states. In 2021, a group of 20 people coming from churches in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Iowa started Resonate Church at the University of Utah. Our goal was to bring the love of Jesus and the Gospel of Grace to students at the U, taking our turn to be a part of the amazing story of God moving in and through young people.
Our core team was made up of both post-grads and University students and has since grown into a church of current Utah students, young professionals working in the city, and young families. Our church has been home to in-state students, students from all over the U.S., and to students studying abroad. During the school year, we gather on campus to make Jesus centered community accessible to students and to invite them to experience God with us. We invite you to become a part of our story as we seek to Love our King Jesus and live out His Kingdom each and every day!
